Showdown

This picture cracks me up (it's been cropped to protect the innocent) cuz you know what Jack is thinking . . . he's contemplating the bitch slap.

Yes, H has grown a beard for the Winter.

Jake Closeup

This is a close up of Jake from the second snow dog pic. He has snow all over his muzzle cuz he likes to bite the snow. Weirdo.

Snow Dog II

Jake loooooves to play in the snow. I make snowballs and throw them up in the air and he jumps up and bites them and the snow splatters all over his face. He loves that game.

Catching Up

Not much new to report. The new job's been keeping me pretty busy.

To synopsize my time away:

January: Crazy busy trying to get ready for a trip to New York to show our new product. Learned that the trade show industry is ultra-slimey. Spent a week in NYC which was fun but grueling. Was exposed to chicken pox (something I've never had) while I was there and once again did not get it which reaffirms my belief that for some reason, I am completely immune to chicken pox but to nothing else. Realized that I like NYC much better when I'm there under pleasant circumstances.

February: Caught a cold from some sickee on the plane back from NYC. Recovered from that and from January. Celebrated H's birthday (which I missed cuz I was in NYC) along with Valentine's Day. Crazy busy gearing up for next milestone at work. Realized that my current house is too big, too quiet, too much work when I'm only home 3 nights a week so have spent weekends looking for a new place. Caught a flu bug from someone I probably encountered during my house-hunting adventures. Made a decision on a place today. Now have to add moving to all the other things which have been keeping me crazy busy. Created new blog.

Good Moooooorning, Bookshelf!

Howdy. How y'all doing? Long time, no see. What's new? What's shakin'? What'd I miss?

I've been awful busy and will be even busier over the next six weeks but thought I'd pop in tonight since I had a flu bug (fever, chills, sore throat, etc.) and could use that for an excuse to do nothing this evening.

Let there be light . . .

And there was light.
