New Math

Woman: I'd like 2 lbs of ground beef.
Butcher: Sure thing.
Woman: How many hamburgers can I get out of that?
Butcher: About 8 good sized burgers.
Woman: 8 good sized burgers? Like big meaty ones?
Butcher: Yeah, like big 1/2 lb sized burgers.

Asparagus Pee

H and I were eating dinner tonight (bbq chicken, roasted potatoes, and asparagus) and I made the comment, "Stinky pee day tomorrow" and he asked what I meant . . . he's never noticed that asparagus makes your pee smell funny. I was hypothesizing that because he's so tall and thus further away from the toilet, maybe when he pees he doesn't notice it cuz he's further away from it? But, I don't think that's it. I think he's just nuts.

Who doesn't know that asparagus makes your pee smell funny?

So, I did some research . . . apparently, only about 40% of humans have the gene that allows them to smell the difference in their pee after eating asparagus. Everyone's pee has the smell, just not everyone can smell it.

I guess he's one of the 60%.
