New Orleans
So . . . I recently found out that I have relatives in New Orleans and they've invited me down for Mardi Gras and . . . I'm actually thinking of going.
My father was the 3rd youngest of 11 kids and he had a younger sister and brother. His younger sister D and her family live in New Orleans. I've met my Aunt D twice, once when I was 3 and again at a wedding 20 years ago. Last time I saw her she was living in Kentucky, I believe. Apparently they've moved.
So, I was thinking that if I go, I'd stay in a hotel cuz even though they're family I don't really know them and would feel weird staying with them. So, any suggestions for a nice hotely in New Orleans? I'd ask them but they'll bug me to stay with them and I'd rather be able to say that I already have a place booked.
