Friday Night Fry
NG made me fried catfish tonight and it's even better than AA's. Un.be.liev.able. My god.

So, been dating NG for 4 weeks as of yesterday . . . so far, so good. Things are going well and I like him very much. Dating at our age is very different from dating when we were younger -- in certain areas. In other areas, pretty much the same.
Friday night we hung at his house and he cooked. Yesterday was cold and overcast so we played cards most of the day then took a drive back to my place to check on the cats. Stayed there for a bit and then went back to his place. We ate fast food for dinner -- every once in a while it's soooo goooooood -- and then played games, congratulated ourselves on 4 weeks of enjoying ourselves and went to bed.
Today, it's clear but freezing freaking cold so we haven't done much. Ran some errands, played dominoes, etc. We're going to go to dinner tonight and then tomorrow I'll go to work and he's going to be out of town for about a week so I'm hoping to catch up on a ton of things. The kittens will be happy to have me around more.
That's about it.

Not much news. Still seeing NG. AA has mostly faded away. Weird weekend. Was supposed to go to a birthday party for my great-niece today but NG was battling a stomach bug all night so neither of us got much sleep last night so, didn't make it. Kinda irked about that but . . . water under the bridge.
Around 2:30 he finally felt well enough to move so we moved from his place to mine where he almost immediately fell asleep on the couch. I tried to sleep too but, even though I'm tired, I couldn't fall asleep so . . . I got up and have been puttering around here and there doing laundry, etc. Worked for a bit and now am goofing off. He is OUT. I've never seen a person sleep so deeply for so long. It's interesting. I've tried talking to him couple of times and he's is so deeply asleep that he is comically nonsensical.
Things with NG are going well so far. We're supposed to go to Alcatraz tomorrow but, it'll depend on whether he's feeling well enough. I've lived in the bay area all my life but have never been there so, that'll be fun . . . if we go.
